Estampados Que Funcionan! / Prints That Work!

Ahora que tengo un blog puedo contar cosas cotidianas que antes me quedaba sólo para mí. Como el día que fui a una reunión con unos zapatos pequeños que me dejaron los pies en carne viva, el día que llevé manchado el vestido y lo tapaba con la chaqueta para disimular o simplemente el que me sentía a gusto con una ropa nueva pero no podía contárselo a nadie. Este post pertenece a la última categoría. El otro día teníamos una reunión importante y llegábamos con tiempo. Llevábamos la cámara encima y decidimos pararnos en un polígono industrial para hacer una “sesión”.

Como veis el vestido os recordará al clásico mantel de cuadros, el típico de picnic o de merienda. Lo vi en una tienda vintage en Praga y me encantó. He intentado darle un toque con el dorado para no hacerlo tan casual (¡que estoy yendo a una reunión!). Ayer leyendo un post vi que Christopher Kane ha sacado una línea parecida para Primavera. Now that I have a blog I can talk about every day stuff that before I would keep to myself. Like that day I went to a meeting with a pair of shoes that left my feet red raw. Or the day I wore a dress to work with a stain and I covered it with my jacket so my clients wouldn’t see it. And that day I felt really good in my new dress but I couldn’t tell anyone. The other day we had an important meeting and we were well on time. We had the camera in the car and decided to stop at an industrial park to do a “photo shoot”.

The dress will probably make you think of a tablecloth, the kind you would use for a picnic. I found it at a vintage store in Prague and I loved it. I tried to combine it with gold leggings and accessories so it wouldn’t feel that casual (after all, I was going to a meeting!). Yesterday I read a post that mentioned Christopher Kane is creating a similar line for Spring. Hope you like it! XOXO
